Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow, meditative practice of primarily seated postures held for longer periods of time than the asanas in more yang yoga practices like Hatha or flow. Yin targets the connective tissues such as ligaments, bones, and joints; areas that are not typically exercised in a more active yoga practice. The primary focus in a Yin class typically targets the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, although other parts of body can and often are included.​

Yoga Wall
Ever wondered about trying the yoga wall but feel intimidated? This is your opportunity to learn in a private, supportive, non-judgmental environment, 1:1, or bring a friend! Classes will be tailored to meet your specific needs. Schedule a single class or a multi-class session. The studio includes 2 Great Wall Yoga Walls and all of the necessary props to get you started. Private and semi-private classes are available upon request.

​The Yoga Wall is a powerful, flexible tool that provides a myriad of alternatives to support your yoga practice, whether you are a beginner yogi or have been practicing for years.

Come and learn how the wall can:
• Take the burden out of the joints in some poses, freeing you to focus on alignment, deepening the pose in a way you might not be able to do without the support
• Strengthen the whole body
• Help you use gravity to your benefit, for traction and deeper grounding
• Assist with all types of asanas, including standing poses, backbends, and more

• Help you get upside down, either in traditional yoga poses or wall-specific inversions • Provide alternatives for different styles of yoga, including Yin
